Automobile relay is used in the automobile relay, this kind of relay switching load power, impact resistance, high vibration resistance. Automobile relay is composed of two parts: coil control circuit and contact main circuit. In the control circuit of the relay, there is only a small working current, which is due to the small capacity of the contact of the control switch, which can not be used to directly control the load with large power consumption. It can only be controlled through the contact of the relay. Relay is both a control switch and a control object (actuator).

Automotive relays are divided into black case, transparent case and transparent belt lamp and other types.

The installation methods of automobile relays include PCB plate, ISO socket installation, ISO 280 socket installation, shell fixing and card installation. PCB plate is generally used for relays with small size and seldom replacement, and socket is used for relays with frequent replacement. For relays whose main circuit current exceeds 20A, socket fast connection type is generally used to prevent high current from passing through the circuit board and causing circuit board heating damage (except short-term working relays). For the relay with large volume, the shell mounting type can be used to prevent the mounting foot from being damaged under the condition of impact and vibration.
